For our client an international company (technical product) we are currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of:
Fairs & Events Manager
- Responsible for fairs/event planning schedule, budget forecasts, budget management, and costs monitoring
- Co-ordinate the tendering process for related external suppliers and contractors
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors with reference to marketing objectives, ensure contract approval & supplier registration
- Liaise with internal departments as necessary during all stages in the planning, organization, and delivery of specific projects to ensure good information flow and smooth delivery of each event
- Producing onsite information including staff briefings, participants list, floor plans, etc.,
- Site inspections, on-site management of staff and suppliers during set up, duration, and dismantling period
- Together with Marketing Team Leader/HQ Marketing Content & Concept Development
- Communication & Coordination of event promotions to all stakeholders
- Post-event reporting, closing, and analysis
- Work with merchandise vendor to maintain inventory of online stores for branded and promotional items, including adding new products and coordinating special orders
- Collaborate with vendors and design agencies to ensure compliance with branding standards for promotional and branded items
- Active promotion of the merchandise on related communication channels
- Constant monitoring of the merchandise shop statistics and together with the supplier applying ideas to improve the performance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fairs (international)
- Advanced level of English, the advantage to speak another language
- Project management skills, very good organization skills, attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT…)
- Willingness to travel to assigned locations
- Valid driver’s license
